Camp Musical

Whether its a traditional musical like West Side Story or Damn Yankees or something more unique like The Princess Bride or The Sandlot, there is always something fun in store with the camper musical. Taking place towards the end of first session, any camper who wishes to be a part of the show is encouraged to participate. Under the direction of our creative and energetic show directors, the Musical provides a fun avenue for campers to display their creativity. For those who enjoy acting, this is yet another excellent opportunity that North Star provides.

Those who do participate in the camp musical will spend a few weeks preparing. The staff who work on the show spend countless hours either writing a script adapted from popular movies or will modify the script of a traditional musical. They create a production that the kids love participating in and is fun for all of camp as well as our parent visitors to observe.
