A vital part of any successful camp is an excellent staff. For each summer, we hire about 80 individuals to work as cabin counselors, trip leaders and as support staff in our kitchen, maintenance and in other important roles. Working at North Star means being a part of a team that is working to create an amazing experience for each of our campers. If you've ended up here, you may be considering joining the North Star staff. Working at a camp isn't just your typical summer job, so please take the time to learn about North Star and what it means to work at camp.

What are we looking for? People who want to make a difference! There are lots of places that you can work for the summer, but working at a camp is unlike any other job. As you look over our website, you'll learn more about the jobs that we have available as well as the compensation that we offer. More important than any of that, though, is the chance that we offer to our staff to serve as mentors. Whether its teaching a group of kids a new card game, helping a camper deal with home sickness, instilling a kid with the skills to make it up the climbing wall, driving campers safely to their destination or preparing them delicious food, each of our staff members has opportunity to help campers develop self confidence and learn things that will last a lifetime.
