Staff Spotlight – Adam Cloch

Hi everyone, my name is Adam Cloch and I am Senior at Deerfield High School in Deerfield, IL. At school I am a member of student council and play hockey and lacrosse as well. Next year I will be attending Miami of Ohio and studying Information Systems at the Farmer School of Business.

This upcoming year at camp will be my third on staff and ninth overall. I generally teach windsurfing  and sailing at camp, but I also dabble in floor hockey and archery.

How has camp impacted you?
– Camp is a second home to me. At North Star, I know I am welcome there no matter what. It is a stress free environment for me to just relax and be myself without feeling the pressures of everyday society. I don’t think that many people can say that they have a place like that, and thats what makes it so special.
