Staff Spotlight – Adam Cloch

Adam Cloch joins us for his eighth summer at North Star. One of our junior counselors, Adam resides in Riverwoods, IL and is a junior at Deerfield High School. At DHS he plays varsity lacrosse as a defense-man and just wrapped up his varsity hockey season. His team made it to the second round of the state playoffs and also won our division.
Last summer Adam went on a three week backpacking trip in Alaska for the second half of last summer, which he described as “spectacular”. He’s currently going through the grind of ACTs and college visits and was recently selected for the Deerfield Honors society. Adam will instruct sailing and windsurfing at camp, but we’ll also be sure to have him teaching some hockey and lacrosse.
