Charlie Sterrett joins the North Star staff for his first summer. A native of Naperville, IL, Charlie has been fishing for pretty much his entire life. He learned to fish from his father and grandfather and ended up started the fishing teams at both his middle school and high school. He’s now on the bass fishing team at the University of Illinois, where he’s finishing up his sophomore year and majoring in political science. There he’s also the president of the Delta Chi fraternity.
Charlie is a water guy. His family has a wakeboard boat and he grew up on the water. He also played football throughout high school. At camp you’ll find Charlie instructing fishing, wakeboarding and football.
