Pickleball

Since being introduced in 2022, Pickleball has taken North Star Camp for Boys by storm, becoming one of the most popular activities in all of camp! Campers who start in the beginner level will learn the basics of the game: rules, how to keep score (since it’s very different than tennis scoring) and all the proper ways to serve, hit groundstrokes and volleys. Campers will also learn about The Kitchen and when you can and cannot enter that area of the court.

Once campers have learned the basics of Pickleball, they move up into intermediate or advanced levels where more gameplay strategies are introduced. Pickleball is a fun way for the campers to stay active and play the game with their cabin mates.
