Payment Plans & Options
Equal Installments: The first of your equal installments is due within 14 days of registration. Your balance will be divided equally over remaining payment dates of November 15, January 15, March 15, with the final payment due May 15.

Pay In Full: Your tuition payment is due within 14 days of registration. By Paying in Full at Registration (prior to November 1, 2026), you will receive a credit of $300 on a 4 week tuition or $450 on 8 week tuition, equal to the cost of the Cancellation Coverage!

Deposits
All deposits are fully refundable until September 15, 2026.
Discounts
Sibling Discount: There is a sibling discount of $125 per session for each camper per family.

Cash Discount: For paying by ACH, there is a discount of $350 on 4 week tuition and $600 on 8 week tuition.

Pay in Full Discount: By Paying in Full at Registration (prior to November 1, 2026), you will receive a credit of $350 on a 4 week tuition or $600 on 8 week tuition, equal to the cost of the Cancel for Any Reason coverage!
Cancellation & Medical Coverage
Accident/Medical Coverage: Tuition includes Accident/Medical insurance which provides coverage for amounts in excess of your camper’s own insurance for injuries/illness that occur during the camp session.

Cancellation Coverage: If you choose, you may purchase Cancellation Coverage. This helps provide coverage* should your son need to cancel for any reason. The Cancellation Coverage upgrade is only available at the time of registration and only for applications prior to January 1.
You can upgrade to the Cancellation Coverage for $350 for 4 weeks or $600 for 8 weeks.

*Cancellation Coverage is 75% of the non-refundable camp cost. Cancellation must be made no later than one month prior to the start of your son’s camp session.

Cancellation coverage does not cover switching from 8 weeks to 4 weeks. Should you cancel an 8-week registration prior to full payment, a penalty will be assessed based on cancellation date as follows:

September 15 through November 15 = $500 penalty

November 15 through January 15 = $1000 penalty

January 15 through March 15 = $1500 penalty

After March 15 = full responsibility for 8 week balance

At North Star Camp, we believe every child deserves the chance to experience camp — to grow, explore, and belong in a place that brings out their best self. We know that camp can be a life-changing experience, and we never want finances to be the reason a camper can’t join us.

Our Financial Aid program helps make camp possible for families who may need some support. Awards are based on need and availability, and every application is handled with care, respect, and complete confidentiality.

We are especially proud to offer additional support for public servants and first responders — the teachers, nurses, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, postal workers, and countless others who dedicate their careers to serving our communities.

This initiative reflects our core values of gratitude, empathy, and community. It’s our way of saying thank you to those who spend their days helping others grow, heal, and thrive.

How It Works

Families can apply for financial aid as part of the regular camp registration process.

Applications are reviewed individually, and awards are granted based on financial need, family circumstances, and available funds.

All information shared is kept private and used solely for determining aid eligibility.

Spending Money (Required)
$200 for 4 week campers

$350 for 8 week campers

This includes laundry, camp store, Cruiser Day spending money, field trips, and miscellaneous expenses.
Transportation
$320 round-trip bus travel from Chicago and Milwaukee

$150 round-trip bus travel from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport*

*Campers traveling by air are responsible for their own airfare. North Star will provide suggested flights and times in the spring.
Pine Manor Trips (The Canadian & Duluth)
$700 (9th Graders Only)
Optional Add-Ons
Bedding & Towel Service – We will provide your camper with bedding and towels, including mattress pad, top and bottom sheet, blankets, pillow, pillowcase and towels. Our hope is that this allows your son to travel with only one duffel bag!

Horseback Riding & Golf Green Fees – Pre-fill your spending account for horseback riding and/or golf if you expect your son to choose to participate in these activities.

Private Tennis Lessons – Sign up will take place in the spring to reserve 6 sessions with our tennis pros!
