For over 80 years, North Star Camp has been a place where boys grow into confident, responsible, and compassionate young men. Founded in 1945, North Star is a traditional overnight boys summer camp in Wisconsin designed not only for fun and adventure, but for lasting impact.

Campers travel to North Star Camp from all over the world to experience a traditional overnight boys summer camp in Wisconsin. In 2025, we welcomed campers from 28 U.S. states and 4 countries. Our staff represented 14 countries, including Mexico, India, South Africa, Colombia, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Spain.
The best part is how quickly boys connect. No more than three campers in a cabin come from the same school or geographic area, so friendships form across backgrounds, states, and countries.

Nestled on 120 acres in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwoods, North Star Camp is an overnight boys summer camp where boys can truly unplug, explore, and grow. With 2.5 miles of shoreline, towering pines, and crisp Midwestern skies, camp becomes the backdrop for adventure and friendship.
North Star gives boys the chance to step outside their routines, leave electronics behind, and rediscover the simple joy of being outside. Whether paddling with cabinmates on the Namekagon River, hiking trails along Lake Superior, or spending an afternoon on the waterfront, campers build life skills that last far beyond the summer.
