It’s a beautiful day in the Northwoods. ☀️ Our trippers just passed their WFR course and we’re assembling the docks today. 🏊‍♂️

In today’s Staff Spotlight, we are excited to welcome first time international counselors: Tristan (🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿), JJ (🇿🇦), Jack (🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿), David (🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿), and Luke (🇳🇿).

We will have 1️⃣5️⃣ countries represented on staff in 2026! 🌎

Next up in Staff Spotlights is our small but mighty 2026 CIT Class!

The North Star Counselor-In-Training (CIT) program is a selective experiential program where former campers step into counselor and activity instructor roles for the first time. CITs live in camper cabins, teach activities, and help plan special events, all while receiving mentorship and feedback from experienced staff to develop leadership, communication, and professional skills.

Please join us in welcoming this year’s CITs: Stuart, Ethan, Colby, Sam, and Cooper. We can’t wait to see the impact they have this summer!

🚨🗣️One month from TODAY, the buses will be rolling through the North Star Arches and our 82nd Summer will be underway!! We’re super excited…are you?!

Our first batch of staff have already arrived at camp to start getting camp ready. Summer is almost here!

Today’s Staff Spotlight welcomes four new cabin counselors to the team: Pablo, Ron, Logan, and Pedro!

Special mention about Ron who has been to North Star for seven summers as part of our annual Four Star Fellowship through @camp4allkids. We’re very excited that he will be joining us for the full summer for the first time. 🙌
