Staff Spotlight – Alec Kaplan
My name is Alec Kaplan and I’m excite do join the NSC Staff. I am finishing my sophomore year at the Lab School in Chicago, where I am taking
all advanced classes. I am competitive in both tennis and archery. As of
this week, I am a certified archery instructor.
My biggest project this
year has been the creation of the Lab School Finance Club, which
focuses on investing education and portfolio management with money that
the club has been raising. I am also a board member of the Junior
Economic Club of Chicago, a nonprofit run by high school students from
around the city. Other extracurriculars include competitive Model UN and
volunteer work at the University of Chicago Department of Surgery.
