Staff Spotlight – Joe Christian

My name is Joe, I’m from Verona, Wisconsin.  I go to school at UW – La Crosse where I am a Bio major.  My frequent activities on campus are climbing, intramural floor hockey, hanging out with friends, sleeping and Army ROTC. 

My favorite hobby is reading comics. I played lots of sports growing up and ended playing lots of lacrosse in high school. This is my second year at North Star.  I enjoy teaching riflery, mountain biking and waterskiing.

– Swim point

– Green Bay Packers

What is your favorite special program at camp?

– The olympic archery shoot and teaching slalom skiing

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and what would you do there?

– Nepal to go backpacking

– Reese Peanut Buttercup

Best holiday gift that you’ve ever gotten?

– My first rifle

How has camp impacted you?

– It has made me more patient and understanding with others, has broadened my perspective and has made me more chirper in the morning.
