Staff Spotlight – Jonah Baim
Junior counselor Jonah Baim returns to North Star for his eighth summer. Jonah is the eldest of three North Star Baims, brother Jacob is a CIT and Joshua is a camper (neither parents have first names that start with “J”). Jonah is currently a senior at Highland Park High School. In the fall, he’ll head down to the University of Illinois to study computer engineering..
Its a bit of an understatement to say that Jonah is a pretty tall guy, and at school he puts that to good use, playing basketball and volleyball. He’s also been a peer tutor and spent time working at his local temple. At camp Jonah is one of our climbing and sailing instructors.
