North Star Camp

For 80 summers, thousands of boys from all over the world have been coming to our little slice of Spider Lake heaven. This past weekend, we had over 100 alumni join us to celebrate eight decades of camping!

We held a Green / White Marathon, Talent Show & Request Program, Keylog Ceremony at the Council Ring, speedball and softball games, and so much more. It was truly an incredible weekend with so many old friends, laughing about camp memories and creating new ones. There is nothing like the lifelong bonds of friendships made at summer camp. “North Star Love’ll Not Fade Away” was quite evident all weekend.

For those who joined us: THANK YOU for making it so special.

Keep those fires burning. We’ll see you in 2029 for our 85th Reunion.

Our 80th Alumni Reunion is only a few days away. 🙌 So far, over 100 alums from all, All, ALL generations have signed up, including as far back as the 1950s! 😲

If you are interested in joining us for a weekend of fun, memories, camp traditions, and catching up with old camp friends, please register at northstarcamp.com/alumni. That page also has a running list of everyone who will be present and accounted for at the reunion. There is still space and we would love to see as many familiar faces as possible! The reunion dates are Thursday August 22 - Sunday August 25.

Our 6th annual Four Star Fellowship recently came to an end. 😢 This year, over 70 youth from the south and west sides of Chicago came to North Star to experience summer camp for a week. They participated in archery, riflery, climbing, fishing, waterskiing, pickleball, disc golf and more! We also played a riveting game of Capture The Flag, went on day trips to the Namekagon River & St Peter’s Dome, and had an inspirational keylog ceremony campfire at the Council Ring.
