After 80 summers of camping, it’s not often that we get to celebrate a “first” of something big. Last night was the rare exception: we celebrated our first ever International Big 10!

Carlos has been a big part of our community over the past decade teaching private lessons to many of our campers. We were honored to have Tennis Mike come back and share some stories last night, along with Cece, Sharon and Alonso. It’s an incredible feat for a staff member to travel thousands of miles every summer to keep coming back to North Star for an entire decade, and is a testament to Carlos’ dedication to his craft and love of working with kids.
